Global Pandemic or Global Power

The COVID-19 pandemic may have its flaws, but it had shone light on women leaders and how their abilities has responded to challenges. Some have fallen and some have risen. But we can all agree on how we are growing as a society and becoming stronger.


Avivah Wittenberg-Cox — the CEO of 20-first, a global gender-balance consultancy based in the UK. She observes the response of women leader towards to global crisis. She found that women lead with love, decisiveness, tech, and trust.


These action of women leaders helps adapt the world for the future.



Including People


Including everyone lives in successful leaders. “They make it very explicit that they care for everybody; they don’t keep anyone out,”. For example, Erna Solberg (Norwegian Prime Minister) she created an event for children to become less afraid during the pandemic, even though they are not part of the votes.


Most leaders are motivated by love and care for others and other leaders would use fear and greed.



Being Authentic


This pandemic has made many of us aware of the struggles of others in different background. However, leaders that are open and share their personal experiences without feeling shamed for being REAL.


Jacinda Arden (Prime Minister of New Zealand) hosted a Facebook Live to asking about everyone’s wellbeing. She was sat comfortably in lounge attire and joking how messy putting toddlers to bed can be. This has allowed her citizens to feel more comfortable in their own homes and encouraging them to be confident in relating to their own experience at home. This has resulted in their country being RONA FREE!


Additionally, the women in the country has managed to build a business during the pandemic, their small businesses resulted having a huge growth by providing subscription boxes or clothing lines. The pandemic has given small business owners an advantage of niching their businesses and providing online services.


Business leaders themselves can use these strategies to help their colleagues that are struggling being at home, feel at home. Make your people, on your side.
